You guys are AMAZING over one tick:
Simple Elite corps went from 90% influence to 75.3,
Carpe Noctem went from 8% influence to 19% and
Colonia Council went from 1.9% influence to 5.7%

The reason behind this is to stall their future expansion without aggressive acts. Seeing as we are both setting off from the same area of space it would be better if we could get a foot hold in the systems first. Especially as some of the systems we are about to move into are almost at max.

I think Dark was right, currently both lockdown and civil are down "\/" and will have to wait for Expansion to come out of cooldown.
If so we will have 2 more ticks of Boom then into expansion

We have no other reasoning for going into Civ Unrest or Lockdown.

Just throwing this out there and this may be WAY too simple, it may be that because we are a dictatorship post boom will always be either lockdown or civil unrest. FDev may have set this as a role play. 1)The Dictatorship starts making profit is Boom, black markets evolve (role play not in system) the state is loosing money and power so cracks down i.e. Lockdown.
2)The system populous enspired by the luxury goods and services rise up against the Dictatorship and try to overthrow it. Seeing the Civil unrest the powers at be place bounties on all speaking out against the regime.
if we monitor for the next few rounds and try to push to the civil unrest

But neither would be kicked out, they would just sit in eternal nothingness. As I can see at this moment as both factions are doing nothing in system just let them be. We can deal with an opposing faction when they rear their heads over the parapet, then we blow them apart.
