Have we considered what our lore/background should be? It got me thinking about what, how and where we are and why we are out here?
Any thoughts or ideas on what we want to use as our official cannon and lore for CARPE NOCTEM?

The Lycanthropes have been hiding within the human arena for thousands of years, persecuted whenever we show our true self's. We thought we would be able to hide in amongst the stars in the human bubble of know space but alas we were still chased out when they were spotted. The only group that took us in and accepted us for what we are was the White Templars. Now we want to be free from the restraints of others to roam free and build our own civilisation. Carp Noctem and our new home The Crypt is to be our starting point where we can howl at all the moons and run free. Couldn't resist kicking that one off for you Cmdr Pierre 07

We, the lycanthropes, have been around since before recorded history ... descending down the centuries ... recently Cmdr Warflower found and examined ancient texts on a visit to Sol about the civilization known as the Egyptians. Apparently the Great God Anubis, who has always been depicted as half man, half canine - and whom many incorrectly believe has the head of a jackal, in fact this is a misplaced fact, the head of Anubis is traced to be none other than the Great Golden Wolf, found and indigenous to ancient Africa, known as Canis Anthus/Canis Lupaster. This was the way the ancient Egyptians depicted great Anubis, as they were unfamiliar with Lycanthropes. These texts also note that while many historians believe them to be "gods" worshiped by Egyptians in the spiritual sense, there is growing evidence that in fact great Anubis was actually a werewolf, one who descended from the stars in a great flying machine. Anubis has many names throughout the galaxy, and his progeny, specifically those whom inherited Lycanthropy, are slowly being gathered within the collective known as Carpe Noctem. There ends are unknown, their purpose secretive, but they are very much a part of the design of our great galaxy and have been for a very long time. Having discovered this new information...CMDR Warflower headed toward "the Calling" in Colonia...where it is said, in the archives located in The Crypt that soon enough, rem eo revelatur, their purpose will be revealed.
